The fourth day of the Lord's Test between India and England saw as many as 14 wickets throughout the day's play. The game has moved thick and fast with India needing 135 runs to win on day five.

England managed to prize out four wickets in India's second innings in 17.4 overs bowled in their innings. Bryon Carse's double strikes brought England back into the game with Ben Stokes picking up the wicket of Akash Deep (1 run off 11 balls) in the final delivery of the day.

England Dominate Final Session On Day 4

What seemed an easy chase at the start of the Indian innings, now seems a tricky one with the visitors losing four wickets. Ben Stokes and Brydon Carse have turned the match around for England.

After a dramatic end to Day 3 with the theatrics between Zak Crawley and Shubman Gill, India picked up all 10 wickets in England's second innings well inside the first two and a half sessions. Washington Sundar took four wickets for 22 runs as he dismissed the likes of Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Jamie Smith and Shoaib Bashir. Sundar dismissed Stokes, Smith and Bahir in the post-tea session as England were bundled out for 192 runs in their second innings. In between Root had a 67-run stand for the fifth wicket to give some stability in their innings. However, the Indian bowlers were constantly at the England batters not giving them too much to work with.

When it was England's chance with the ball in the fourth innings, which was India's second, they have made the chase look a lot more tougher than it initially looked. Karun Nair disappointed once again as Yashasvi Jaiswal scored only 13 and 0 in the two innings that he batted. The game has moved at a rapid pace in the third and fourth day with the intensity of the players rising.
