Bangladesh's tour of Sri Lanka is set for the final frontier as the hosts announce their squad for the 3-match T20I series.
The Sri Lankan board has named a 17-man squad for the T20I series against Bangladesh, starting July 1 at Pallekele International Stadium. The ODI series is currently tied 1-1, with one match remaining to decide the winner.
Chandimal, Pathirana Return for T20Is
The official T20I squad was released on July 7, with Charith Asalanka appointed as captain. Matheesha Pathirana returns to the T20I setup after missing out on the ODI squad. Dinesh Chandimal has also earned a spot, while Nuwan Thushara makes his comeback for the series.

Before Sri Lanka’s announcement, Bangladesh named their T20I squad with a surprising move, dropping former captain Najmul Hossain Shanto. Liton Das has been named captain for the T20Is.

The three-match series will kick off on the 10th of July at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, before moving to Dambulla on the 13th of July, with the final T20I set to take place on the 16th of July at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo.
